“We want all children, regardless of background and class, to have access to life-long learning. This is why we are working with the district authorities to sponsor school uniforms for the children, providing uniforms made from breathable and light fabric, so students will be comfortable throughout the day,” he said.

The viscose-rayon fibre produced by APR comes from sustainably and responsibly managed plantations in Riau. It is processed into dissolving pulp, a raw material used to produce viscose-rayon fibre and further spun into textile products.

Aprilyanti, a teacher at SDN 012 Lalang Kabung, said: “We are very pleased to see these new uniforms distributed, and we hope to see this collaboration continue”.
