For emerging technical talent, our Engineering Development Trainee (EDT) programme provides an immersive pathway into our integrated operations. Throughout this journey, our integrated model ensures you are not confined to segmented roles. Teams across engineering, R&D, chemical production, and supply chain, work in connected environment, giving you a complete view of the end-to-end production.

Global exposure

Our commitment to a diverse and inclusive environment is reflected in our growing global team. Our operation team in Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau, consists of over 600 professionals across engineering, production, and technical quality control.

Complementing our manufacturing hub, our teams in Indonesia and across Pakistan, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, and Singapore drive our global commercial strategy. These regional experts provide the market insights and customer support essential to our international growth.

Across our global operations, women represent around 30% of our total workforce, holding critical roles in laboratories, shift management, and maintenance. We also continue to see an increase in leadership diversity, with women currently holding of senior management positions.

Life at APR

Staff at our operations in Pangkalan Kerinci live and work in our Riau complex, home to more than 10,000 employees and their families from across the RGE Group.

The fully-equipped complex features a hotel, a supermarket, places of worship, schools, a medical clinic, and sports facilities, ensuring everything you need is on your doorstep.

And then there’s the town of Pangkalan Kerinci itself. A village of just 200 dwellings when our co-located supply partner APRIL Group began operations in 1993, today it’s a small city of more than 100,000 people, offering a wide range of dining options.
